The 3-hour masterclass for intermediate players focuses on self-expression, grooves, patterns and everything else passionated handpan players want to learn about. Malte Marten has not only established a unique playing style within the past 10 years, but also came up with a teaching / learning method, that helps every handpan player to unlock true freedom on their instrument - no matter if you're about grooves and patterns or rather expression and meditative playing.

For the first time ever this workshop will feature the infamous E Amara 20 handpan scale. Get to know one of Malte's all-time favorite handpans and learn how to play his go-to grooves and patterns.

This masterclass is roughly structured into three different blocks: - The three pillars of Malte's playing and how to use them for YOUR playing - How to come up with endless variations of new patterns - Open space for your handpan related questions and needs

This masterclass is for people with 1 year or more of handpan experience / people who genuinely describe themselves as intermediate players. Handpans will be provided for all participants, but you can bring your own instrument, if you have specific questions regarding your instrument / scale.
